The Community Services Office of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Tripoli will hold a Gaucher disease awareness event on Thursday under the supervision of the Pharmacy Department of the National Center for Disease Control.

The event will highlight the disease and its main symptoms, as well as the importance of early diagnosis and available care and treatments, with the aim of increasing awareness about rare diseases.

The faculty said that the event is part of its efforts to promote health awareness on rare diseases. Students, faculty members, healthcare professionals, and others interested in the topic are invited to participate in the event at the Rashid Kabar Auditorium at the university.
